Greetings Nobles and Ladies. The Khedive Chevys are racing to the finish line on

this 2021 calendar year and all I can say is “Wow, what a year it has been!” We’ve

continued to grow our membership and get additional cars road-ready and we

will no doubt have an even greater presence in the upcoming year. This is exciting

news and is sure to generate greater support from our communities, enabling us

to continue the work that Shriners do for our wonderful hospitals and those

amazing kids!

In October, we hosted our 1 st annual Khedive Chevy Shriners Cornhole

Tournament. This fun filled weekend at the Virginia Beach KOA campground

went off even better that we could have hoped for, and by all accounts it was the

perfect weekend. Even the inclement weather held off until the very end of the

night and the friendly competition amongst these world class cornhole players

resulted in everyone having a great time and our unit representing Khedive in the

most impressive light. With the amazing success of this inaugural event and the

blueprint in hand for hosting our next tournament, we are well on track to grow

this event and bring in more sponsors and players next year. So mark your

calendars for the weekend of October 14 th – 16 th 2022, and plan on joining us

again next year at the KOA (Pro tip – make your reservations early, as they are

already filling up.)

As we close out this year, we would like to offer our best wishes to all of our

fellow nobles in each of the units for a safe and happy holiday season, and a very

prosperous new year! We are eagerly looking forward to doing more of this great

work and supporting the temple and our incredible philanthropy in 2022!
